Oil Companies Post Record Profits

Exxon-Mobil made 10 Billion $US in net profits for the past quarter alone, as the oil industry posted record profits due to increased prices.

• Last year when the execs from the oil industry were asked to testify, Republicans balked at the idea of having them sworn in, calling it unnecessary. Yet objections weren't raised when the same demands were made of professional baseball players who had been called to testify in regards to steriods. Something is wrong here!
