Draft Gore!

Since coming to Iran I haven't had a decent internet connection (I will soon though), so I haven't been able to blog. But in the wake of the news that Al Gore won the Nobel Prize, I want to share how excited I would be by the prospects of an Al Gore candidacy. I have only a brief moment to write right now, but among the reasons that I like him most are:

1) He was the first major politician to support Howard Dean's run for the Democratic nomination in 2004.
2) Jimmy Carter, my favorite American president, said in a speech at UC Berkeley that he basically calls Gore every week begging him to run.
3) His work concerning the environment has done a phenomenal job of increasing awareness about the Global Warming crisis.
