Connecticut Senate Primary Update

The Quinnipiac Poll from a couple days ago showed that the Republican opponent to the winner of the Lamont/Lieberman Connecticut Democratic Primary for the Senate would have only 9% of the state vote in a three-way election in November. Add to that news from today
that he was sued and forced to pay two settlements on gambling debts that equalled approximately $28,000, and you realize that he almost certainly poses no threat to either Democratic candidate. In a state where "83% of the population disapproves of the Iraq war and only 31% percent approve of President Bush", the people of Connecticut should vote their conscience and chose the candidate that represents their view on the issues.
