Who Said Activism Doesn't Breed Results?

After pressure from MoveOn.org, Scott McClellan announced this morning on Meet the Press that a portion of the profits from his book will go to veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. All it took was enough people to take a quick second to sign an online petition and voila! Now granted, it may not be as much as MoveOn would have liked, but it's certainly better than nothing. Oh, and if there were still any doubts as to the potential to do good through grassroots activism, there is a little known candidate who this site tends to support who might make you think otherwise.
