Both the reference to IED's in the clip below and the fact that in an earlier debate he said that attacking Iran is "a possibility that maybe closer to reality" than is being discussed makes it pretty clear that he has Iran on his mind. This type of rhetoric sure is a long way from Obama's promise to have dialogue. I guess this is what happens when wingnut-neocons take over a party. This is also why I think so many of them will be willing to abandon ship for a Democrat who calls out to them, because it's this type of hawkish pessimism, entrenched in the belief that all our problems should be dealt with through the military, that has come to define the Republican party, but that is not necessarily in line with the wishes of Republican voters.
