Washington Lobbyists a Serious Problem

Barack Obama not only does not take money from Washington lobbyists, but he will not give them any posts related to any previous lobbyist work in his administration. The Clintons, with their history of connections to Washington Insiders, refuse to do them same.

Article: Huffington Post:

Lawmakers returning to the Capitol are being welcomed back by some familiar
faces: former members whose one-year ban on lobbying their old colleagues has
just expired.

Among them is Jim Davis, a Democrat who left the House in
2007 after an unsuccessful bid for governor of Florida. His one-year ban ended
last week, and now he's signed up with the lobbying arm of the Holland &
Knight law firm. It's a transition that plenty of House and Senate members
make.
